Revised Date for World Harness Handicapping Championship (WHHC) presented by DerbyWars.com

2019 World Harness Handicapping Championship presented by DerbyWars.com — offering a record $150,000 prize pool — has been pushed back a week to  Saturday, April 13.   The adjustment will ensure all partner outlets have enough time to run their qualifiers and allow players more time to buy-in.

The World Harness Handicapping Championship presented by DerbyWars.com is a one-day tournament (now Saturday, April 13), with a welcome reception the evening prior.  Players that did not earn a seat through a qualifying event can directly buy-in for $1,300.  The $1,300 entry fee includes a $300 bankroll, with the remaining $1,000 going to the prize pool.  The $150,000 prize pool is based on an estimated 150 entries.  The WHHC contest format requires players to bet 10 races: their choice of seven Meadowlands races, plus three designated mandatory races.  Players keep all pari-mutuel winnings.  Prize payouts are to the Top 10.

This Saturday, January 12 the Meadowlands has its next WHHC Qualifier.  Four spots are up for grabs in the $400 Qualifier ($200 entry plus a $200 real-money bankroll).  The format requires players to bet a minimum of $20 Win, Place, Show or any combination of WPS wagers on 10 Meadowlands races.   Players can wager on more than 10 races if they so desire.   Players can register on-site Saturday up until 7:15 pm.

DerbyWars will host regular online Qualifiers for the WHHC every Saturday through March.  Players can qualify for as little as $22.    Complete DerbyWars Qualifier (a list of those qualified can be found at https://www.horseracingnation.com/content/2019_whhc_qualifiers#) information can be found at DerbyWars.com.

Club Hawthorne will be hosting 2 WHHC Qualifiers on February 15 & 16 with three seats into the Championship.  Details can be found at HawthorneRaceCourse.com/Contest
TVG/4NJBets will host three WHHC Qualifiers (one each in January, February & March) with six total spots given away into the World Harness Handicapping Championship presented by DerbyWars.com
