YONKERS, NY, Wednesday, March 5,
2014—Held over by popular demand, Yonkers Raceway has moved the closing date
for its “Jackpot Next Door” Claiming Series back a month.
The original Ides of March (15th)
deadline been changed to April 15, making Tax Day also Jackpot Next Door Day.
The series, for $20,000 claiming pacers of both genders, offers three
preliminary legs, beginning May 6. The $50,000 (added) final is set for May 27.
A nomination form accompanies this
release (again, closing date is now April 15) .
