MANALAPAN,
NJ – December 5, 2013 -- Longtime New Jersey horseman Louis Joseph Telymonde
passed away on December 3, 2013.
He
was born in Elizabeth, NJ on October 7, 1935 to Andrew and Alice Telymonde.
Lou
was a harness horse trainer-driver as well as an avid fisherman.
He
is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Telymonde. Lou is survived by
his wife Barbara Phyllis Telymonde; his children, Lesa Colvin, Tina Scarpulla,
Hope Ogden, Matthew Redler, Kenneth Redler and Denise Schulte; 13 grandchildren
and seven great grand children. He is also survived by two brothers, Andrew
Telymonde and Alphonse Telymonde, and a sister, Pamela King.
A
memorial service will be held on December 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Weatherhead
Young Funeral Home located at 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ.
In
lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Standardbred Retired
Foundation at 353 Sweetmans Lane, Suite 101, Millstone Township, NJ, 08535.
