The Meadowlands
Racetrack will be horse racing paradise on Saturday, November 3 with an all-day
and all-night offering of racing and dining at its finest.
The
afternoon and early evening features the simulcast of the Breeders’ Cup World
Championships live from the Churchill Downs in Kentucky. Fans can watch and
wager on the top-class races beginning at 12 noon and leading up to the $6
million Breeders’ Cup Classic at 5:44 p.m. The Breeders’ Cup races begin Friday
with four championship events starting at 3:21 p.m.
Pink
Restaurant at the Meadowlands will open at 11 am and offer a special lunch
buffet featuring Brazilian-style culottes steak, grilled chicken breast with
fresh arugula, tomato, and mozzarella, penne pasta ala vodka, and Icelandic cod
piccata. Appetizers include a variety of salads and mozzarella with Jersey
tomatoes and basil. Dessert selections include a variety of cookies, cakes, and
locally baked babkas. The price is $39.95 per person plus tax and gratuity.
The
excitement builds up to the evening for live harness racing kicking off at
7:15pm featuring the 2 year old Kindergarten Finals. Fans can enter the $200
World Harness Handicapping Championship Qualifier for a chance to win a seat
into the WHHC Final presented by DerbyWars. Contest details are available

The night-time
Pink buffet opens at 6:30pm and features a variety of seasonal dishes and
