Vernon
Downs will conduct a double draw on Wednesday, August 21 for Saturday, August
24 and Sunday, August 25 races. The box will close at 9:00AM. The race office

Chief
among the events for the weekend are the $700,000 Zweig Memorial trot, open and
filly divisions, which will be raced on Sunday along with the first leg of the
2013 Drivers' Championship.
The
Excelsior/State Fair races for 2 year old trotting and pacing colts will be
raced on Saturday evening.
