VIEWING TUESDAY FOR HORSE OWNER-BREEDER ANGELO FRASSETTO

Longtime standardbred horse owner and breeder Angelo Frassetto, 72, passed away on June 2, 2013, several hours after his horse, Ms Caila J Fra, won the $150,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final for three-year-old pacing fillies at the Meadowlands Racetrack.

Frassetto, of Upper Saddle River, NJ, campaigned his horses under the nom de racecourse of The Fra Stable LLC.  For more than two decades his trainer was SBOANJ President Tom Luchento.  More recently, the Frassetto horses were in the care of trainer Steve Elliott.

He leaves his wife, Cheryl Frassetto (nee Reynolds); his children, Terry and Christine, and his grandchildren Gates, Caila, Angelo, Angelina and Giana.  He also leaves his brothers Anthony, Albert, John and Salvatore.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ.  Entombment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
