74- year old John Gilmour, of Mongaup Valley, NY, still knows how to get the job done  shown here reining  2-year-old trotting gelding Let’s Just Dance to his maiden victory in a time of 2:04 at Monticello Raceway on August 2^nd.

Gilmour, a native of Ontario, Canada, has been a Sullivan County()NY) resident since the mid-1960’s and is a former seven-time Mighty M driving champion. He has driven but 52 times this season and reined six winners but in a career that began in the late 1950’s, Gilmour—who’s better known in the backstretch  as “Sep”--  has recorded  4490 driving victories.

Lets Just Dance is an altered son of Glidemaster, trained by Gary Messenger and owned  by his wife, Brenda Messenger.
