Local Food Trucks & Delicious BBQ
Meadowlands Racetrack
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – This
Saturday, July 10th the BBQ Fest returns to the Meadowlands
Racetrack. $2,000 is up for grabs in the BBQ Fest with $500 top prizes for
the best brisket, chicken, pulled pork and ribs.
From 5:00 p.m.-11 p.m. in the Backyard, fans can grab some
delicious barbecue and food truck eats from some of the best local food trucks
and restaurants in the area.
Seven
contestants have signed up to compete in this year’s BBQ Fest including: Magic
Mike’s Smoked Meats, TreeJ’s Delicious BBQ, Latin Bites, Oakburn BBQ, Smokin’
Joe’s, The Empanada Truck and Boho Bites.
Additional
food and dessert options ranging from empanadas to kettle corn to fish and
chips will be provided by The Empanada Truck, DAW Concessions, Cosmick Kettle
Corn and Clyde’s Homemade Italian Ice and Ice Cream.
In
additional to the great bbq fans will be treated to the world’s greatest
harness racing on the track. There are two $250,000 Graduate Finals, one for 4
year old trotters and one for four year old pacers. Plus, the top 3 year old
pacers compete in two eliminations to reach the Meadowlands Pace Final.
