Join Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment this Saturday, July 27th for
their sixth annual Seafood Fest beginning at 6pm.
A total of 15 vendors will be serving everything from a raw
bar complete with clams and oysters, to a variety of lobster rolls, crab cakes,
shrimp tacos and more. Participating vendors are All Surf & No
Turf, 2 Guys Catering, Star of the Sea Seafood, Carnival
Concessions, Latin Bites, Angry Archie’s, Tacoholics,
Magic Mike’s Smoked Meats, The Mozzarella God, DAW Concessions, Little Bite of
Paradise, Delicious BBQ and Chef J Latin Dragon Food Truck. House of Cup
Cakes and Clyde’s Homemade Italian Ice & Ice Cream will also be onsite
to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings!
Pink, the tiered dining
room with perfect views of the live racing action, will feature a special
$39.95 seafood buffet highlighted by tuna tartar, spicy shrimp lo mein,
Maryland Blue Crab Pasta, Canadian wild caught Salmon and steamed Long Island
clams and mussels. The buffet will also include NY Shell Steak and
grilled chicken for those turf lovers. For an additional $20 seafood fans
can order a 1 ¼ lb freshly steamed Maine lobster. Reservations are strongly
recommended.

There
are also twelve entrants for the inaugural Meadowlands Chowder Cook-Off.
Entries include everything from classic clam chowder to Peruvian seafood
chowder to coconut curry cod chowder. The winning chef will receive $500
with 2nd place earning $250 and third place $100.
While indulging in great seafood, guests can watch live
harness racing starting at 7:15pm. Fans can watch and wager on the eliminations
for the $500,000 Hambletonian Oaks.
