NJ – August 5, 2016 – George Luchento, brother of horseman Tom Luchento, passed
away today [Friday, August 5, 2016].
Tom
Luchento is the former president of the Standardbred Breeders & Owners
Association of New Jersey and former owner-operator of the restaurant,
Luchento’s.
George,
67, was from Easton, PA and was the retired Vice President/ Global IT Vendor
Management and Procurement for National Starch & Chemical. He earned
his bachelors in industrial management at Seton Hall University and his MS in
computer science from Pratt Institute.

Luchento leaves his wife, Alice Danow Luchento; his daughter, Janet Luchento-De
Nise; granddaughter, Allison; two brothers, Tom and Michael, and father,
Nat.
