Tournament basketball is back and Meadowlands Racing &
Entertainment is celebrating with the FREE MRE March Basketball Challenge.
Come watch the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament March 17-April 6 in Victory
Sports Bar, RaceWorld Teletheatre or Winners Bayonne and play your favorite
teams for a chance at the weekly prizes and the $6,500 Grand Prize.
In
addition to the $6,500 Grand Prize for the overall points leader at the end of
the Challenge, the second place
finisher wins $2,500 and the third place finisher wins $1,000.
The
4 weekly prizes include: March 15-22: Dinner for four in Victory; March 23-29:
$100 betting voucher; March 30- April 5: Dinner for two in Pink; April 6: $100
betting voucher.
Registration
for the FREE Play MRE March Basketball Challenge is now open. In order to
participate players must be a MRE Player Rewards member and register for the
MRE March Basketball Challenge. The Challenge is played via mobile
device, through the MRE Sports app which can be downloaded to any
iPhone, iPad or Android device at iTunes or http://meadowlandsracetrack.com/sportsapp.html
. All picks must be entered in one of the following locations on
premises: Victory Sports Bar, RaceWorld Teletheatre, the Player Rewards VIP
Room or Winners Bayonne.
The
New Meadowlands Racetrack contest system is powered by CG Technology, a
preeminent technology company based in Nevada, and will utilize real time
information and real time results ensuring continual action for the contestants
every day.
The
MRE March Basketball Challenge is free to enter. Players will receive 1,000
points on the day they register for the Challenge. Contestants will use their
Meadowlands Player’s Rewards account number and Pin to submit their picks. At
the end of each week, the contestant with the most points will win the weekly prize.
After the NCAA Championship Game on April 6 the player
with the most points overall receives $6,500. The Player with the second most
points overall wins $2,500 and the third place points finisher wins
$1,000. All winners will be notified via phone and email, and will be
posted on the TV by the Player’s Reward Club desk.
Throughout
the NCAA Tournament fans can watch the games in the Vegas-style Victory Sports
Bar. Food and drink specials include $3 Bud & Bud Lights, $20 beer
buckets and a $5 bar menu
