London,
January 7, 2014 – The Raceway at Western Fair District has cancelled its
Wednesday night program due to the combination of snow squall conditions and
extreme cold temperatures in the London area.
Heavy
snowfall and blowing snow hit the region overnight leading to several
cancellations and road closures. The forecast is calling for more of the same
into Wednesday evening.
The track
will be open for simulcasting today with live racing set to resume this Friday
night with a first post of 7:15 p.m.
