YONKERS,
NY, Tuesday, January 22, 2013--Yonkers Raceway enjoyed its biggest handle of
the young season on a--shall we say--brisk Tuesday night, with $1,017,797
wagered on the 12-race card.
Brian Sears added to his lead in the driver standings with four winners,
including both halves of the $13.60 early daily double. Sears now has 29 wins
in the first nine racing nights. George Brennan won twice, with Eric Goodell,
Jeff Gregory, Matt Kakaley, Jim Pantaleano, Larry Stalbaum and Jordan Stratton
winning one race each.
Horsemen are reminded that nomination blanks are now available for Yonkers
Raceway’s Petticoat and Sagamore Hill Pacing Series (deadline Feb. 1) along
with Blue Chip Matchmaker and George Morton Levy Memorial Pacing Series
(deadline Mar. 1). Forms are available at www.yonkersraceway.com, the nightly
live racing program as well as print and on-line harness publications. For more

Raceway continues its normal five-night-per-week live schedule, with first post
every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:10 PM. Evening
simulcasting accompanies all live programs, with afternoon simulcasting
