Through three nights of racing, the Meadowlands has seen an
additional $795,091 wagered on their first three cards, compared to the previous
year, marking an overall increase of 12%.
The long-shot parade continued Thursday night, with horses
returning $75.80, $51.20, $39.60, $22.20 to win.
David Miller and Brandon Simpson both scored driving doubles
on the evening. Miller has been driving lights out to start the meet,
while Simpson continues to open eyes putting forth excellent drives with the
world’s best drivers.
Once again, the multi-race exotic wagers at the Meadowlands
proved extremely lucrative. The Pick 5 returned $18,570.10 for a $.50
cent wager. The Early Pick 4 returned $2,246.60 for the $1 minimum and the Late
Pick 4 returned $831.60 for a $1 wager.
Racing returns with a great 11 race betting card with full
fields on Friday, with post time at 7:15 p.m. The weekend wraps up with
an excellent 12 race Saturday program with post time at 7:15 p.m. For all
