The stars of the driving colony were Dave Miller and Simon
Allard. Miller continues his torrid streak to start the meet, while
Allard put forth a great effort on the night, both winning three races.
Allard told Bob “Hollywood” Heyden in a back-paddock interview that he “plans
on sticking around at The Meadowlands more this year,” as it is a “great place
to drive.” Two of Allard’s wins came while teaming up with
brother/trainer Rene Allard.
