YONKERS, NY, Thursday, January 2,
2020—Yonkers Raceway begins its 237-card 2020 season Monday night (Jan. 6th).
It was a full entry box which greeted race
secretary Bob Miecuna for the opening double draw, as in 150 entrants for
Monday and 130 for Tuesday night (Jan. 7th).
Both nights feature a dozen races, with 22
of the 24 races offering standing-room-only eight-horse fields.
A reminder that Friday’s (Jan. 3rd)
draw for Thursday (Jan. 9th) has the entry box for closing at 9 AM
sharp.
