There are two divisions of the Geers Stakes for 2-year-old pacing colts & geldings. Each division will race for a purse of $29,350.
In the first division the 9-5 morning line favorite is the Linda Toscano trained Columbo (Jim Morrill Jr.). He is a colt by Sweet Lou-No More Loving.
In the second division the morning line favorite at 9-5 is Western Vacation (Andy Miller) The gelding by Western Ideal-Robin Cruiser is trained by Julie Miller
In the $64,900 Geers Stakes for 2-year-old pacing fillies the 2-1 morning line favorite is the Erv Miller trained entry of Coconut Beach (Jim Morrill Jr.) and Bolt Of Beauty (Marcus Miller). Coconut Beach is a filly by Art Major-Gold Beach. Bolt Of Beauty is a filly by Bolt The Duer-Natural Luck.
The $54,000 Arthur Tompkins Memorial for 2-year-old trotting colts & geldings features an entry of four as the 4-5 morning line favorites. They consist of Rukiddnme (Muscle Mass-Uh Oh its Lindy) who is trained by Ake Svanstedt and driven by Jim Morrill Jr. , Light Blue Movers (Ready Cash-Prinessa) is driven by Dexter Dunn and trained by Svanstedt.
