MANALAPAN,
NJ – Rockin Amadeus, the Breeders Crown winner at two and the New Jersey Sire
Stakes Final champion at three, drew the rail in the $250,000 Anthony
Abbatiello New Jersey Classic Final on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the
Meadowlands.
The
New Jersey Classic, which has a field of 11 three-year-old New Jersey-sired
pacing colts and geldings, will be carded as race 13.
In
the filly companion event, the $125,000 Thomas D’Altrui Miss New Jersey, will
be carded as the first race and offer no show wagering on its field of seven
three-year-old New Jersey-sired pacing fillies. The probable favorite is
I Luv The Nitelife, the winner of six of seven starts this year, including the
Fan Hanover, Lynch and Mistletoe Shalee stakes. She drew post two.

stakes, sponsored by the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New
Jersey, are part of the stakes-laden closing day program at the Meadowlands
that features the $1.2 million Hambletonian and $500,000 Hambletonian
Oaks.
