YONKERS,
NY, Saturday, February 9, 2013—Due to the lingering effects of the winter storm
which hit Westchester County and the greater New York area, Yonkers Raceway has
cancelled live racing (and all simulcasting) for Saturday (Feb. 9).
Live racing (and evening simulcasting) is scheduled to resume Monday night
(Feb. 11), with first post at 7:10 PM.
Aqueduct (and afternoon simulcasting) is scheduled to resume Sunday (Feb. 10).
Horsemen are again reminded that a Yonkers double-draw for next Thursday/Friday
(Feb. 14 & 15) takes place Monday (Feb. 11). Entry box for both days closes
at 4 PM.
Also note that Empire City casino opens today (Saturday) at 12 Noon, with its
usual 4 AM closing. Regular casino hours (9 AM-4 AM) resume Sunday.
