RACE
9 – $600,000 Breeders Crown — 2-Year-Old Pacing Colts and Geldings – The biggest surprise from last week’s three
eliminations was the previously unbeaten Beach Glass tasting defeat for the
first time in his fourth lifetime outing as the 1-5 public choice. Six Feet
Apart went a huge mile while parked to defeat Beach Glass as he stopped the
clock in a lifetime-best 1:50.2. Monte Miki proved his 15-1 upset score in the
Metro was no fluke as he out-gamed 3-5 favorite Hammering Hank to the wire in
his elim, a 1:50.4 lifetime-best score. Pebble Beach vaulted off cover
three-wide before holding off Gulf Shores by a nose in the third elim.

field:
1. Gentle Giant (Chris Page, Brian Brown), 15-1
